Some days back while travelling my Uno's engine starts Knocking like hell i stop the car & inspect phisically but couldnt find some thing abnormal under the hood so consult Babaiy Fiat the famous PW member @Spectra he ask me to perform some tests out of which most were susscefull but car didnt stops knoking so finaly i toe the car to workshop & after diagnosis mechanic suggest me for engine swap or full over haulin of old engine which cost was around 45K. So i got disapointed
but Spectra guide me to drive mechanics as per his instructions so i did & after following the good meausre the engine got working normaly by replacing & repairiing some parts.
The fualty/problamtics parts inludes,
Timing belt Pully on Cranckside (Broken)
Timing belt pully on Fuel pump side (Problamtic)
Carter of timing pully on CAM side (Slip)
Valve clearance Shims for 2 valves (worn)
Servicing of nozzles
After RCA we came to conclusion that the problem starts with improper valve clearance which was already observed by Spectra on his last visit to Lahore but due to negligency i face this big problem.
