My Two Cents Regarding FIFA WC 2022 Qatar

The world cup has been one of the best ever with amazing goals and memorable wins. The performance by underdogs Morocco, Japan, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia were top class in this World Cup. If you have not watched the matches, you have missed a lot of entertainment. You will forget the real world when watching the drama, excitement, and fun of the FIFA world cup.

Mbappe, Greisman, Giroud of France and Messi, Di Maria and Alvarez of Argentina mesmerized the world with their assists and goals. Of the top teams, only France played as predicted reaching the final as I had predicted from the start of this WC.

Football is without doubt much more entertaining than cricket. Pakistan needs to develop talent and excel in this sport similar to Cricket as it is the most popular game around the world.

Fifa World Cup 2022 delivered an exhilarating rollercoaster ride that even the cynics leapt on board.

The tournament that has defied all expectations reaches its climax on Sunday December,18th,2022.

For a month the so-called beautiful game did, in the words of FIFA president Gianni Infantino, spread some joy.

The marquee names of Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo delivered storylines. Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea and Tunisia delivered shocks. New heroes emerged.

The abiding memory for many will be Morocco's shake-up of football's hierarchy.
Harnessing the energy of their followers, Walid Regragui's men scored victories over European aristocrats Belgium, Spain and Portugal on the way to becoming the first African and first Arab country to reach the last four.

France proved a match too far as they set up a showdown with Argentina in the spectacular Lusail Stadium.

Anybody watching Final Argentina Vs France?

The final was a classic. Many are calling it the best World Cup final ever with 6 goals.
I watched it on ASports HD.

Kylian Mbappe of France won the golden boot with 8 goals and Emiliano Martinez won the golden glove for best goalkeeper. Lionel Messi was the player of the tournament that brought a fitting close to the career of the greatest player of his generation.

I have to applaud the brotherly nation of QATAR for organizing such an ostentatious and great world cup. The lavish and luxury seemed to have brought the best from all teams. The best world cup ever!

Post World Cup Comments:

I played football in my younger years as a defender and midfielder scoring a few memorable goals. Having stayed in Saudi Arabia for about a decade, I was infected with the football flu that is endemic in the country. The game served as an entertaining break from the wretched reality of the world (Ukraine, Palestine, Syria, etc.), giving hope that the world can be united in peace and love of a game.

I have followed every world cup since 1994 and I have to say this was the most exhilarating, dramatic, world cup ever with amazing goals and surprising results. Thank you FIFA and thank you Qatar for organizing such a wonderful event.

PS. I won't be following the 2026 world cup that will be held in the USA due to their gross violation of human rights in Iraq, Afghanistan, and many other places and also the support of the terrorist nation of Israel; and for spreading the evil satanic LGBTQ+ culture.
