Faida tu hai. 2E is underpowered engine for this body and also its a carburetor based. On the other hand 5AFE is efi dohc and produces a lot more hp and torque and better economy.

If you want Auto I will suggest 7AFE coils one and total kharcha if proper work is done will be around 160k to 200k due to increase in engine prices.

Dear experts,

I recently purchased a ee90 with 5afe, but it has got a mismatched MAP sensor (belongs to townace I think).
I can no longer find MAP sensors with 89420 code but instead only 89421 codes are now available. Can any toyota experts here guide me in this regard.

Also there are other issue(s) I am trying to sort out like engine dropping performance after like a 20 min ride (side note : I am also getting a 41 OBD Error for TPS upon checking - not super sure though if its the MAP sensor issue causing it or actually a TPS error)

Additionally, o2 sensor was not connected when I bought it which we later connected to the ECU. However, while trying to diagnose the acceleration issue I decided to also disconnect this sensor (although no change in acceleration observed) - but I was also expecting OBD error for O2 to show up - but it didn't (only error is 41 - but I was hoping I'd get a O2 error in addition)
