Flashgun was definitely in the list and had a budget allotted for it but that is now going to new tires and rims for my car...

Would a Chinese alternate do the job, as during my visit to Nisbat Road I saw quite a few flashguns in low prices, even an SB-900 alternate for Rs. 17000/-

for the flashgun....if you dont want to spend now as you mentioned, just get the cheaper alternative i.e. Chinese ones....i would suggest yn 467. its for 7-8k....would work great for the time being till u get a Nikon one which is highly recommended...dont reply on the cheaper ones for long term....get the Nikon one asap then. Sb 700 is cool and sb 900 would be awesome and sb 910 legendary

Thanks Yawar. I haven't used it much due to some extra work at office, but the money I spent definitely showed up in the photos. The biggest advantage I got here was the direct use of popup flash, I don't know why but the direct flash isn't washing out the subjects neither its darkening the background as my 600D was doing... Really impressed!!!

Flash is definitely in the list and it would be Nikon's straight away, it would take time until I save enough funds for that...
