Dear op, I just wanted to tell you that there is no such thing as Heavy bike. Calling sports bike a heavy bike is kind of insulting because the bike manufacturers and the owners go to great lengths to make their bikes lighter as possible to improve the power to weight ratio.

A Ducati Panigale 1299 is a Fire Breathing Superbike with over 200HP at the crank, and with a MASSIVE 1.3L V-Twin (or L-Twin cause it's a 90 Degree V Angle) and yet...

IT'S WEIGHT IS COMPAREABLE TO A CBR500R!!!

And you'd find Ducati bragging about how they saved few lbs by doing this, few grams by doing that... Lighter forged aluminium pistons, carbon fiber fairings, titanium valves and etc etc...

ya i partially agree with ur both's thoughts. but ppl who are saying it heavy, actually they didn't means it weight wise heavy.
its a normal term used to imagine a big/loud/racy engine/machine.
just thts it and nothing else and we will take 10 decades to change ppls working. so let it as it is.
i.e. suzuki 150 sporty customized is also called heavy bike lol.
wego is called automatic, while automatic is something else. but if i/we say to them no... this is... ppl disheart or can say they stop following or taking interest.

so let it as it is in their minds and routine.

Yes, I'm also fine with being 'DASI'... As a matter of fact, I'm proud to call myself DASI TYPE cause I consider myself a traditionalist!

I love my culture, love my people and love my country... All those years aboard taught me well about how priceless and sacred a tradition and culture is!

But PAINDU? Now, that's a different story...

To me, a Paindu is a person who's hellbent on ancient beliefs and feels proud of it... Like a... Er... A Hipster of sorts! Unwilling to meet the new world... The kind of man who gets crazy when a BLACK CAT crosses his path! A man who goes to a 'WITCH DOCTOR' (A man who practices black magic) when he gets ill... Get my point? Any 500-600cc twin would make a good first choice, but it depends on availability and condition in Pakistan.

After reading all the views, still havent narrowed down to any set of particular bikes which are readily available in pakistan. Would really appreciate more input from from experienced bikers. Lets say the budget is flexible 20% +_

Wait for Yamaha R25 which is within your budget if rumors are believed. Everything will be clear within 2-4 weeks.

Yes its up for sale asking price is any amount near 500k yet the seller is willing to negotiate.. Bike is Islamabad registered Number and brought and bought from islamabad as well over a year ago and is currently in Lahore. other details can be asked over pm.

Well if you want a better bike than that cbr cuz its old and will need more maintanance trips i suggest you go for the yzfr 25 is priced at 575k according to the topics here, id go for that.
