First Oil change

I have recently done 4500kms on my WagonR and im hoping to get an oil change.......
-What Oil should i use?
-Whats the best place in Rawalpindi to get an Oil change(except Suzuki Dealerships)?
-Whats the average cost of oil filter and the whole process?

What Oil should i use?

I would suggest fully synthetic engine oil from some reputed brand. It must be 100% genuine and original, meeting latest API SN / SN Plus, and / or ILSAC GF-5 criteria. The grade may be 5w-20, or at max. 5w-30.

If you want best for bucks, go for Total Quartz 9000 Future Series in 5w-30, and ZIC A+ in 5w-20, and change oil + filter after every 5,000 Kms, or when oil becomes dirty, or 6 months, whichever comes first.

For that, I would suggest to vist the company operated / maintained engine oil change stations, and get the oil changed from there. You an get all such details from official websites. Or, you can get engine oil from there, and change from any shop which suits you.

Never compromise on Engine Oil!

stick to Suzuki OEM Suzuki 3S shop till such time vehicle is under warranty.

Stick to Suzuki if you intend to extend warranty. I did this mistake of adding other brands oil and on the basis of this, they rejected my application of extended warranty.

Other than warranty, in my opinion manufacturer's oil would be better (since they have to give warranty of engine if oil quality is not good) whereas this is not the case of other brands. I'm also planning to switch back to SGO.
