Glossary for friends : ABS wiring is not disturbed when original ecu/abs sensors on axle/abs unit are not removed. will work just like it used to on stock setup.

traction cannot be programmed mixing both ecu's signals (oem and the one used to run the engine) as TRC takes signals from abs and cuts ignition. however aftermarket diy units are available to program traction management. but then we dont really need to cut down power delivery do we? just saying

hence traction is controlled manually with throttle (drivers with "skill level 5" can easily make a choice between acceleration and control)

whenever ive dealt with a v8 swap in my car i prefer auto transmission mainly to better concentrate on the road with both hands on the steering wheel

its great to see a well thought out swap in the rx8..i think itll run great! the engine dimensions and weight do make the 1uz a more favorable swap over the jzs but only for the rx8. the rx7 ls1/ls7 (v8 ) swap has been a very successful and popular swap in america for awhilenow.
i would like to say that the 1uz especially the vvti model has very weak rods therefore its not a boost friendly block. the cost to hp ratio is way higher than it would be for a 2jz but only when you want bigger numbers than stock.
im a little sad that you didnt put in a 5 speed manual transmission as you were planning to.. cant wait to see the car run at the track!

@mirahadk yes I'll agree for both the points which you have mentioned in your post.
The reason for choosing an auto transmission was because our Rx-8 came with the auto transmission.To convert it to a manual transmission was not a good idea because then we had to do some alterations in it.
I know many people will agree on the manual swap but different people have different way of driving.
The 4 speed auto Lexus comes with the 3.62 differential and 5 speed one comes with the 3.26.
Our Rx-8 has a 4.3 differential gear ratio.I know its pretty low but we could not find a higher one in shershah. The best part of having this diff ratio is that the wheels will generate more torque and the car will produce more acceleration.The worst part is that the car will have a higher R.P.M at 100 cruising speed and will not give us a good fuel economy.

Theoretically u can! but the engine will be placed at rotated position and for that you want huge space in the engine bay..I wander which FWD car has that much space in the engine bay which you want to install this engine in.

UPDATE: Exhaust line has been done today and the car has been towed away to the electrician for final work.

Depends on which car u want to put that engine in.If its a midsize sedan you might don't need that much torque.There are a lot of options which again depends on the particular car.You will get the best compatible engine obviously.

Thats still not that easy Sir! engine dimensions that too at rotated position needs more space for headers and all and for the same reason it might not let accord's bonnet close properly.
