Good thread ...
I have been keeping Fish tanks for a while now and i have kept many fish .. i am mostly intrested in large fresh water species rather than small cute ones:P
I will post some pics and videos of my current fish tank and some previous ones too ...
Rozz .. bro there is one major mistake i see in your tank .. and its the have placed those fish together which are NOT compatible with each other ... let me segregate
Group A
Angle Fish
Gold Fish
Sucker fish
Black moore
Shubunkins
Group B
Paroon Shark
Blue line shark
tin foil barb
Sucker fish
These groups are compatible with each other and hardly survive with each other if placed together ... If the paroon shark gets around 4-5 inches in length .. it will eat rest of all the fish
except the sucker fish ....
Things you can do to make u aquarium survive ..
- First decide which group you want and keep them and get rid of the other.
- Always make sure that you have ample supply of fresh air inside the tank.
- Always feed them that much food that the fish can in eat in 2 mins .
- Never in any case over feed your fish .. you would seem that fish might be hungry but fish only has a stomach the size of its eye .. and when u over feed extra the PH level of the tank is messed up along with the nitrates .. and you would see the tank water turn cloudy and yellow.
- If you plan to keep Group A fish .. feed them FLAKES (easily available)
- If you plan to keep Group B fish .. feed them Sinkable algae food and dried shrimps vocationally .. and when they get bigger small gold fish too
- U mentioned that when ever you turn the light on the blue line shark gets upset .. there are 2 tired and tested solutions .. always keep proper timing for switching on and off the light never increase or decrease the timings ... the fish will get used to it and soon would adjust. Second is that probably you have to bright light in you tank .. get low power AQUA light .. its less harsh on the fish..
8 . Never keep ur tank near the window or direct sunlight .. it helps Algae to grow .. you don't want that in your tank.
I hope these changes would make a healthy difference in your Aquarium:)
