Nyc trip... but to spend the whole nyt at thz spot is not so fun ... alot of factories garbage in thz water .. polluted water area u choose bro..

You're right bro. At around 3 a.m., we noticed really stinking smell and whitish water flowing. It was industrial waste. It was sad to see this.

Okay, visited one of the mangrove island because of call of nature There was no lota and thats where the empty cold drink bottles came in handy. After getting fresh, captured some pics of this beautiful beach. However, it wasn't possible to go further the beach because whole island was literally bog. That's how the mangrove forests are.

I see the boat is small. Is it considered safe going to deep see in this type of boat? May be waters in Arabian sea are calm compared to waters of Southeast Asia! Can't say for sure.

Mangroves cover a large area in Sindh. However, most are arid because of lack of fresh water. Its too much neglected by the govt and people.

Yes the boat was small but it was ok for the mangroves. The water in mangrove is calm, there are no waves. It is not considered deep sea. Fishing in mangroves is the safest bet. And we did have safety life jackets with us

wese @ism1 bhai.. 18-19 are bad days for fishing. I just checked on Tidal chart.

Aur hum se bhi yehi ghalti hui thi because 3 and 4 April were worst for fishing.

Yup it was fun indeed

I didn't count the total score. We kept all the caught fish in a bag inside ice box and took this bag as it is once the trip was over. One friend took it for distribution and after an hour he handed me 8 fish (including all types) and told that the very small fish he kept for his turtles. We were 6 persons, so total would be 55 or so including the small ones he kept for turtles.

And the catfish (in my share) were consumed at my home by parents & chachoo. They like it. Dunno what others did with catfish.

Sufian, it is the first time I developed interest about Karachi sea....no offense brother! Whenever I am on official visit at Karachi, its airport hotel office airport with visits to restaurants. Can you repeat this episode whenever I am in your city?

Sure Rashid bhai.. Most welcome. It would be great to meet you in KHI But one thing I should mention that Mangroves aren't considered Deep sea. Deep sea fishing is next on my plan but a bit hesitant after watching movies like Cast Away

Haha, Good observation

He gave us 1000 discount (or we asked him after "tarlay") because it wasn't our lucky day but it was on the promise that we will return again soon and will pay good if the catch is better next time He was kind of upset because of our fishing day choice as it was a bad decision based on tidal chart.
