Guys, let me clear it further, FOCAL has stopped entertaining warranty claims if their products are bought from ebay, amazon or any or online selling websites, mainly because.. 1-they're fake, 2-re-furbished, or 3-they are tempered..
Focal started this campaign and they cancelled all serial numbers those were in the market. Now, you can only avail warranty if you buy from their official dealer and send the product information to their head office..
Warranty is not an issue if you buy original stuff, Focal is made to last..
Just be careful when you are buying from any local shop, verify the serial numbers on the box and on the equipment to be the same, ask for warranty, and wish for good to happen with you.. 
Focal also says, if you get things installed from their installers the warranty is doubled rather tripled.. 
So far, no cases reported here in Pakistan, we are safe market, unless you buy from ebay and import that product.
From the pictures given in Cold's link, it is clear that most of the drivers are fake, even a blind man could tell..
