Fog Lamps Required Honda City 09 Onwards

In Lahore, when i went for the fog lamps for my Honda Civic 2005 model, he quoted me three types of lamps
Depo for Rs. 7000
DLAA for Rs. 3500
Chinese One for Rs. 1500.
I went for DLAA one, good results. Only difference is of Glass and Plastic
There is glass in Depo and Good quality plastic in Dlaa.

An off topic question...i want to have a rest or center console on city 05, is that available anywhere or what can be the solution....except after market consoles...i need total genuine look...Thanks..

There is a big difference of price between DLAA and Depo ones so I am guessing quality will also be miles apart.

Bdw is DLaa Chinese ???

come on yar ... aise tu steel mate lgwaane se bhi warranty void ho jaati hai , right ?! anything you do , there is a warranty void caution handing on one's head .. I am not going for anything too extravagant .. I think good, branded fog lamps are not very harmful .. kya khayal hai apka ?

On a side note , have you encountered such situation of dealership not supporting because of warranty void issue ??? or have you encountered such story on PW ?? just for my knowledge

Well i went for DLAA, Taiwan i think, Good quality. Depo ka result tu acha hoga par if kisi incident mein Fog lamp toot gya tu phr single piece milna mushkil hai.

N why it is merely looks. Fog lamp is a good utility during bad visibility ... No ?!

Yaar I have to agree, but well if, ALLAH NA KARE, something goes wrong in the electricals of the car, they will almost instantly blame the fog lights installation. One thing I have heard but not experienced is, you can get them installed from a Honda tech and get the dealer stamp on your receipt. That way, it would be counted as a "Professional Install".

I have no experience though, sadly.

As for harmful, well I don't consider anything harmful. I have steelmate installed in my car, dil py pather rakh k lagwa lia tha cz its a must have. I can't stand by the door keying it all day with a bag over the shoulder and some books in hand.

I only said this since I know the fact of you being sensitive about the wheels you own.

And nope. I don't have any such experience. though once, a friends car had a mechanical issue in the tappets. It was in warranty but he had CAI installed.

A tech at Honda Canal popped the hood, saw the short ram and exclaimed, "MAADIFYED HAIGI GADDI, kharab ty huni c".

I don't think so. It might be the case with a Civic 8th Gen but not Honda City. I seldom felt anything like "OH WOW" after turning the lamps on.

Actually City ki head headlights bhi weak hein so I thot to add them ..wese r u running on stock head lamps or have changed them ??

Yes all stock lamps n bulbs. No fog lamps in my car. I consider the visibility pretty enough, personally.

Four headlamp system is always better but in my case I feel much better with my idsi's headlamps instead of a Corolla Xli. Same case with i-vtec city.

If you want to invest in visibility, increase your budget a little bit and go for a HID projector retrofit. You'll never regret doing it.

Hamaray projector, audio, visuals and Honda Generator walay guru @mitthu sb hain na. Ek bhai aur bhi hain I can't remember his nick.

Its devil something... The guy with the red wine Corolla altis and the quad retrofit project. Search for his threads.
@sixstring is the guy for you as well.

They usually procure stuff from aliexpress.com. I don't have the details, these guys can and will help you out inshAllah.

And yaar depo fogs nahe mil rahay aapko? Mere hometown Mianwali mai dhair o dhair paray wy hain bhai g just visit pindi saddar.

May be I am NOT looking right ... I'll be getting the car on this weekend and will start the up-gradation gradually .. yes I am hoping that I'll get them from Saddar Somewhere Insha Allah
