Nothing silent yaar....the options for upgrades are unlimited and i had to spend lot of time researching them.
The difficult part was figuring out if I wanted a rally ready landy or an expedition ready landy...in the end i sort of took the middle road.
I will let you know the specs later once all the parts are here and fitted on the landy. That will take few weeks.
Right of the back, I can tell you that the shocks are ranchos 99157 and 99159. They are completely adjustable, with 9 point settings ranging from soft medium to hard. They are cheap and have unlimited life time warrenty.
There are many high end shocks available in the market place both for serious off roading or rallying. However most of them require some kind of custom mount and I did not want to get in to all of that.
The winch is a Warn Tabor 9k, the cost is around USD450 to USD500 in the US. NOt sure how much it will cost me in freight. A friend mine is a freight forwarder and he has an office in US. I had it delivered to his office in US.
Same is the story for ALlisport Intercooler. I had it delivered to his UK ofice. He will arrange the freight details for these products.
Under carraige protection is all being fabricated here in Karachi. I should have pictures by the weekend.
And when did i decide to do all this? well when I realized that i could not afford to buy another landy and also it did not make sense to buy one and upgrade it. And eaiser and some what cheaper option was just to update my current 110 and make it into a hybrid between luxury ride thats fit for rallying as well as expedition outings.
