I tried installing my old school Akai Amp in my suzuki FX back in the 90s. Did not work.....It started draining the battery. I loved that AMP, it was the most powerful piece of equipment i ever owned. Turning up the volume use to shake all doors/windows around the house. Even the crockery in the kitchen used to vibrate.

@Poster, I think you should take out the two speakers from their shell and install them somewhere around the door etc. They look really weird on the dashboard like that.

If you wan't you can get a used USB pre for 4-5k which you can install with good quality door speakers.

excellent and out of this world. You won't believe your ears. Soft deep and powerful base that will shake you along with your seats.

I agree it looks a bit weird and wires are scrambled all around. In fact it is just prototype. I will try to mange and hide the wire properly

good brother i use same sbs 5.1 in 2003 it is very good ..
but there is a simple thing to understand.. In home appliences and car electronics there are some differences.. When the manufacturer creates something for car :
it should be Heat resistant
It should be stable on different Voltages
it should be water vapour resistant upto some level
and its construction should be solid and it should be Jerks resistive

on the other hand home appliences dont have such characteristics , duo to that its prices are almost 5 time lesser than car electronics.
yes you can use this into your car . but it will stop working after some time . . rust .. power issues.. breakage are the issues..

I respects your comments but I think you might have heard of overclocking of CPU. This is same what I have done with my sound system. Actually its sound is so amazing, I overlooked all the possible consequences. However, I have taken all precaution measures.
