Bro, thats why I said "if it were built by Ferrari, thatd be one fast car" ; in other words Ferrari engineers can make a muscled engine; but because Ford engineers arent as qualified and aware, a Ford 6.6 appears like a 3.6 in front of Ferrari guys...

I doubt its fast, American cars are "never" fast. The fast ones are Italian, German, Pakistani & Japanese.

Porsche Carerra is nice, boxster is ok. considring 40k $ for it, not that bad...

Benz is referring to SL500, CLK class (350) & SLK
BMW is referring to M5 (sports edition) & 3 series convertible. I dont like Z4 or M6/6series.

@hafzaal same here bro i think this one a 4.5l V8 and what i meant was it is fast for a car that is built in 1969 and 38 years old i mean it still beats the clk200 compressor and vti,s and cl9s and it smokes its tires well does awsome burnouts donuts and drifts:P

Are you sure you get the "real" sound of a V8 from a Ford ?

Listen to that and then rev up the engine of a Mercedes S55 and youll "feel" the difference.!

indeed for V8's sound amazing, but when you want to compare sound AND power of a ford with an AMG engine then you shoudl compare the sound and power of an S55 with the engine fomr the ford GT (or classic GT40), both of which have higher top speeds than the 55 (even when unlimited) and faster 0-60 times.

Now look at the prices of the two cars. S55 is more luxurious and branded - about 120k USD

GT - looks wierd (to me) and is 140k USD !

I am unaware of hp & torque factors; but with 150k in my pocket left aside for purchasing ( a ) vehicle(s) only, Id get a S55 definately choosing between these 2!

And now in 2007, you can get a S63 AMG in 128k with
