Alonso loses temper with Massa after duel
Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa's stormy relationship continued to deepen on Sunday afternoon after their wheel-banging duel for victory at the Nurburgring.
McLaren's Alonso climbed out of his car after winning the European Grand Prix and pointed to a black tyre mark on his left sidepod.
The Spaniard, who earlier this weekend also had an on-track altercation with his Brazilian rival, then confronted Ferrari's Massa and told him that he objected to his racing style.
Massa was stony-faced on the podium, as the trophies were handed out by his former teammate Michael Schumacher.
Alonso then told reporters that the pair had actually touched twice during the 60-lap race but apologised to Massa for losing his temper.
"Now I try to enjoy the victory and forget everything else," he said.
