Dennis rejects calls to quit McLaren
''I will not be forced out of Formula One''
Ron Dennis has defiantly rejected claims that the conclusion to the Stepneygate scandal could cost him his job.
After his team last week issued an apology for not knowing how far Ferrari secrets had penetrated its Woking headquarters, and voluntarily freezing aspects of its 2008 car, some sections of the press surmised that the logical next step would be for Dennis, 60, to retire.
Nightsurfer: Well, you should. You haven't had a car for the past so many years to challenge for the title. And, when you had, it turned out to be a Ferrari. Both of your drivers could win the world title, but none of them did, because you were acting like a father/step father. And now, you are apologizing to save yourself from severe punishment.
