I like what the top gear guys did a couple of weeks ago... they announced that mclaren racing was about to release a new street legal super car and that they had a spy shot of it... they showed a ferrari... nice!

McLaren sign Heikki KovalainenTeaming up with Hamilton on a long-term deal

McLaren Mercedes confirmed this afternoon that Heikki Kovalainen will team up with championship runner-up Lewis Hamilton for the 2008 season. Pedro de la Rosa will remain the third driver and an integral part of the team, whilst Gary Paffett will assist Pedro with the testing programme when required.

Ron Dennis has defiantly rejected claims that the conclusion to the Stepneygate scandal could cost him his job.

After his team last week issued an apology for not knowing how far Ferrari secrets had penetrated its Woking headquarters, and voluntarily freezing aspects of its 2008 car, some sections of the press surmised that the logical next step would be for Dennis, 60, to retire.

Both of your drivers could win the world title, but none of them did, because you were acting like a father/step father. And now, you are apologizing to save yourself from severe punishment.

RoC – Ekstrom takes back-to-back titles
DTM racer star takes on and beats Schumacher

Former DTM champion Mattias Ekstrom took on the best and emerged victorious this evening in freezing conditions at Wembley Stadium. The shoot-out for the crown of champion of champions came down to the Audi DTM racer taking on seven-time F1 champion Michael Schumacher and it was the former that emerged victorious in the Race of Champions.

2007 - Honda - Review

Starting the review of Honda’s dismal 2007 campaign is tricky as there is little positive to say. The team won the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2006 and looked to take the next step this year with the RA107 package, but that was not to be.

Nightsurfer: Things should be better. Ross Brown is a multiple title winning race director. I would love to see them finish at the podium and defeat the likes of Mclarens and Renaults. But, still a lot needs to be done. Probably, they should start from changing the livery.

Pakistani Karting Champ to Drive Formula BMW

KARACHI, Dec 17: Pakistan’s young karting sensation Kazeem Manzur will be making his single seater motor racing debut in the 2008 Formula BMW Europe championship, Dawn learnt here on Monday.

The sixteen-year-old Kazeem, who enjoyed a fantastic debut season in the pinnacle series of karting KF1, has dazzled the karting world with his succession of wins, podiums and fastest laps in the Italian Open Masters, European Championships and French Open Championships in the past few months.

Lol! I think he is just happy to find a seat in a front line team. He walked into a team this year ( Renault) which was pretty much at the front of the grid all of 2006, and now he has got a contract with another team which was at the sharp end of the grid all through 2007 season. Most of what he says is obviously for PR. He will find out how life is when they go racing.
Hope the 2008 Mclaren turns out to be the dog that Renault was this year, though I like Kovalainen.

ha ha ha ha... the guy (Hamilton) can't drive in france for a month... hey if the guy gets his drivers license suspended on the race weekend is he still eligible to drive in the race?

Does anyone here remember the time when Damon Hill's super license was up for renewal in the middle of the season? I remember that Brit. commentator (i forget the guys name... he retired recently... he was the one who would get really excited and then forget peoples names) heave a sigh of relief when Hill passed the test to have it renewed... that was a good laugh.

I dont remember the incident with Damon.
As far as a suspended license is concerned they can still drive Formula 1 even if their drivers license is suspended as long as nothing is wrong with their super license.
