The story behind this article goes like this. I had a fight with my cousin over football vs F1. He kept raising his voice and I couldn't talk that loud. So I kept calm and then wrote this and Emailed him my reply.

It was never my intention to make it look or sound like i am trying to humiliate nightsurfer. I only gave my honest opinion. He has written a very nice article, and asked your opinion and mine. I could have just said "hey very well written" and finished it. He has said he is not offended but i will apologize to him none the less.

Like I said to sub7er it was never my intention to make it sound like your article is missing so many things or to come across as someone who "thinks" he knows more and is telling you what to do or add things. If it came across like that i apologize. I only said those things because a lot of people like the title of your article suggests think its only going around in circles. One of my friends that i forced to watch some races suggested " they" ( the cars) would look much better if they didn't have so many stickers!! Another friend called the cars " something that look like insects" The point i am trying to make is that not many know enough about the sport and the level required to compete at that level

That was the reason behind writing it. So many people know so little about auto-racing and for them it really is like going around in circles. My younger sister once asked me why don't the races end in a single lap.

I am glad to know that you share the same opinion and that my English isn't too bad to convey a simple idea. Thank You once again. Perhaps, I should amend it according to your suggestion and send it to the papers if the you guys insist. I don't think that any of the papers are going to print it though. Criticism and politics is what they prefer. lol

Williams abandon Barcelona test

Williams have abandoned this weekend's test at Barcelona in Spain a day early after failing to completely resolve the wing problems that have marred their running.

"We had a reliability issue with the front wing at Barcelona during testing," a Williams spokesman told autosport.com. "We could not implement an appropriate short term solution so we decided to return to the factory to address it in time for the Jerez test in just over a week's time."

Thanks once again bro! I don't know if you were here during the PakWheels Magazine days or not, but it was a wonderful platform for such articles. I had plans to contribute to the magazine at some point but the site owners had to stop its publishing due to some reasons. I am hoping that one day we will see the revival of PW magazine.

Why I wrote this article, you already know, but if it gets published then it would be wonderful as I never expected something like that. That is why, I am still not too hopeful about it. Partly because of its subject and partly because of the level of language efficiency our publications demand.

Thanks once again for taking time out reading my amateurish article and finding out room for improvement.

Now coming back to doing something through this platform. We had a PW GTG at the KHI Karting Center last July. We really had a great experience and we could have planned our very own Karting Series. A string of monthly events under the PW logo. This idea came from a fellow PWer who is another huge F1 fan but not a regular contributor to this thread. Sadly, the Karting Center closed down the very next month.
