Somehow i felt the same about the Hamilton pass on Heikki. It seemed as if Heikki lifted early allowing Hamilton an easy run into the corner but either way, Hamilton would have finished ahead of Heikki so congratulations to all Mclaren and Hamilton fans.
Massa underlined once again why he is not world championship material. I lost count of the times he spun. He clearly has problems driving in these conditions without traction control as did most.
Ferrari seem to be going back to the pre- Ross Brawn era slowly. Reliability is not the same, small mistakes have started to creep in. Not changing tires for Raikkonen cost him dearly.
Over at Honda, Ross Brawn showed a glimpse of his genius. Full credit to Rubens for keeping the car on track in very tricky conditions but, Brawn showed his tactical genius by first putting him on full wets to exploit the conditions and whilst most teams would have left their driver on those tires till the end and settle for a few points, Brawn got him into the pits , put him on inters to make sure of 3rd place.
Correct me if I`m wrong cause i haven't slept much but I can only recall one driver who did not spin and did not go off at any stage of the race. He to me was and is the best racing driver in the world. In an inferior car, changeable conditions he was running at the same pace, and at times quicker than Ferrari and Mclaren but as soon as a slightly dry line started to appear around lap 12 he couldn't do much with that crap, Renault.
