Firstly about the Raikkonen-Hamilton incident. There has long been a view that FIA is biased towards Ferrari. I, myself have felt that a number of times over years. There have been times when things have happened that cannot be explained except to feel there is Ferrar bias. Having said that, i dont think that's the case this time. Sure, Hamilton gave back the position to Raikkonen but he did it in such a way that allowed him to carry a lot more speed by cutting the chicane and attack Raikkonen into turn 1. Had he taken the normal line through the chicane even with the extra grip he had it was unlikely that he would have taken the place off Raikkonen into turn 1. If it was correct as Mclaren and Hamilton seem to claim then i wonder why they felt the need to get on the intercom to Charlie Whiting and ask him if it was fair.
Sadly this brings me to what seems to be my favourite pass time these days, slam Raikkonen for his extremely poor showing this season, his work ethic and his ability to be the team leader of a front line F1 team but that
s another argument for another day.
As for, Alonso-Kubica dream team at Ferrari, it could very well happen, but I personally don`t see it. Again i would give my biased opinion about Alonso. To me he is the most complete driver in F1 right now. A team leader who can motivate his team and point them in the right direction. He is thoroughly professional and hungry for success. He has the experience and proven ability to win with a reputation for being a tactician.
I feel Ferari would revert back to Schumacher style in the post Raikkonen era. Be it with Alonso or with Kubica time will tell but i will be very surprised if the pair of them are together.
P: S How i wish Schumacher or Montoya or Villeneuve were in F1 after reading this latest Hamilton masterpiece.
