Nadal must be on some sorta drug which cannot yet be detected. Almost 10 hours on court in two days and still able to run down every ball. I agree with you about his body not being able to handle it for too long. Dont want to reign on his parade but his is not a style that would make anyone go somewhere specially to watch him play.
Tony Roach messed up Federer I think. trying to make him adopt his game more to clay. For all of Federers genius, i think he needs a coach and no sorry lefty cannot do that8-|
Lefty has done all it could making you the greatest business mind. Lets not get carried away with it, but seriously Federer should consider someone who can help figure out how to go about beating Nadal.

Dude I was thinking almost the same thing except my theory was that he was the by-product of a michael chang and agassi union.
My brother suggested something that was implausible but sounded pretty interesting... imagine if sampras decided to coach fedex. Won't ever happen I know but I keep wondering if sampras would be able to help him. I mean Federer has played him enough times over the last couple of years. Considering sampras never won clay and that federer has gone farther on Roland Garros more consistently than sampras probably not but perhaps sampras know how to approach federer considering both of them have the WTF factor.
And yeah I agree on the drug bit... he must be on drugs... yes... he must be.
As for the issue of lefty taking up the federer cause... lets not get testee about it... get it?!

Guys i used to say that and still saying Federer got to the top position quite fast and it is due to the fact either of his brilliance or their is no competition for him in most of the times while Nadal have to face Federer's magic and have to prove that he is good. It's the same situation that Australia faces when they have best players they are beating every one and when their best players retired now they are as vularnable and beatable as Pakistan nowadays.
One more thing Nadal is a long match player I don't think any other tennis player have played so many long matches in so small amount of time. Remember last year's wimbeldon he has play four matches in five days while two of those four games are five set games. On the other hand Federer play three games in five days and only one was five set game.

Dont know if Pete would ever consider that or even help be able to help Federer cause Federer does have a better all round game than Samprass did. I was thinking more on the lines of someone like Jimmy Connors or even better John McEnroe:-) Brad Gilbert is another who comes to mind.
Talking of by products, wait till the real product of Agassi and Graf starts playing tennis! Wonder what hell do if he has half of his mother`s talent.

All these boring base liners are good at playing long matches. Brought up on clay this is all they do, stand 5 feet behind the baseline and retrieve every ball.

The Phantom World Champions

The FIA's publication of the What if... medals table makes fascinating reading. For those not acquainted with the report, the FIA have gone back over the World Championships for the last 59 years and applied Bernie Ecclestone's Gold-Silver-Bronze medals to the race orders.

They have then tabulated them to work out if the man who won the Drivers' title on points that year would still have won it with the highest number of Gold medals (i.e. the highest number of wins).

till now i can't find any other fantasy league which has global access like the yahoo fantasy league so our PFL should continue on yahoo for this season. As for the league itself their should be some rules on our own that includes all participants of the league have try to participate in the league on regular basis apart from some unavoidable circumstances and also team name should not include Pakwheels as fantasy team.

I would also suggest that we stick with the yahoo fantasy league which we played last year.
I have looked at some other games but what i didn't like about them was the fact that you are asked to pick an engine, a chassis and a driver in a given budget and then you are stuck with them for the entire season. This being a year where F1 has under gone big rule changes, the yahoo fantasy league gives one a lot of flexibility . The other games, I feel restrict you and if one happens to make a bad choice you are stuck with it for the entire season. So my vote is for yahoo fantasy league for one more year at least.

Red Bull unveil the RB5 at Jerez

Red Bull Racing have become the latest team to unveil their 2009 car, with drivers Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber pulling the covers off the RB5 at Jerez in Spain on Monday morning.

The Renault-powered machine is the latest design penned by Adrian Newey, and the team have high hopes that it will be the machine that allows the team to make a step forward this season.

Technical analysis of the Red Bull RB5

As the last of the major teams to unveil their car, Red Bull adopted a strategy to keep the design in progress until the last minute. Guided by tech chief Adrian Newey, this may be regarded as a risk, but the added design time has proven itself by the car appearing to be far more developed than most other launched cars.

Not only in the detail, but the whole layout of the car has been tackled in an innovative way. It's possible to say that the RB5 could be regarded as radical, but it's perhaps fairer to say the car throws away the book of contemporary F1 design and instead returns to some features discarded from F1 several years ago.

That`s just two votes for yahoo fantasy league. What say you? and lets see what others, who were regulars on the yahoo game say, people like Beglar, Comtrak, Sub7er, Kizzi and a couple of others. Maybe one of them comes up with something better.
I would prefer the Yahoo game, but will go with majority decision. Democracy is the best revenge:p

We have to somehow make sure that those taking part in it actually do participate throughout the season.

Sorry for not posting for a bit... was helping another major business out here file for bankruptcy... they are falling like pigeons out of the sky here...

ANyway my vote goes for Yahoo simply because I am used to it... last year I picked kimi as my A driver and left him there for three races before realizing that I could only pick a driver a maximum of four times. Becides doesnt yahoo give a lot of flexibility when it comes to how we choose the two drivers and the teams? Anyway that's my vote... we should come up with a resolution quick considering the F1 season is upon us now... all I have to say is "Yes we can..." sorry... couldnt resist going Obama-esque.

By the by anyone heard about this USF1 team everyone is chattering about... ?! Looks like that speed guy is going to get a drive after all.

I sort of agree with you but this may give the drivers an opportunity to shine... a mediocre driver in a well put together car and a phenominal driver in a mediocre car... should be interesting to see if the changes are going to reduce the gap between the two.

I am getting used to the cars slowly. They are ugly or maybe not i dont know. They look a lot like cars from the 80s, and racing was fun in the 80`s. No one should expect it to spice up the racing because the modern day tracks do not allow for that to happen.

Stick to speed tv on the 24th....all shall be revealed live on it and seems not only are they going to put together a team they are interested in testing Danica Patrick, which leads me to believe they are after sponsors.

Cant help narrate the little incident from the last testing day when Renault and Alonso started showing some pace, Mclaren felt it necessary to have the quickest time of the day so rons little toy went out with three laps fuel, a 2008 specification rear wing and a `08 diffuser for a glory lap to put in a time two tenths quicker than Renault.

p: s. Nadal has been beaten by murray. I cant decide who of these two i dislike more.

Yes its true there really is only one driver out there who can lay claim to the title 'phenomenal' but lets face kimi is sort of like afridi if the guy has his focus and is feeling it on the day not many can get past him.

Oh man if they are going to race danica then I am gonna have some serious issues with that! Has anyone here seen her hissy fits and temper tantrums that she throws when the other drivers actually 'race' her? If not I seriously recommend you guys youtube danica patrick. This chick has issues and frankly I think she might end up embarrassing herself if she showed up for the testing... i wrote a whole para on the issue thats how much I dont want her to get into F1...
