It will certainly turn out to be very painful for Ferrari fans who have seen Schumacher + Ferrari glory days. I have always been a huge supporter of the combination. Schumacher is a great driver but, Ferrari gave him an equally great car all the time.
It will be really interesting to see this new juggled up Formula1. Alonso is at Ferrari which could only be the next best thing after the Schumacher era. In my honest opinion, no matter what I have said for Alonso in the past. He did beat Schumacher and Ferrari twice in succession. Alonso, if given a car like Schumacher at Ferrari, will destroy any opponent.
Schumacher however, has a great chance of winning. He really does. He has paired up with Ross Brawn and his champion team and with the backing of Mercedes, they are bound to do a good job.
Now for Button and Hamilton. I don't consider them even close to Alonso let alone Schumacher. Hamilton was very lucky to have won the title did. It was Massa's year, Hamilton didn't deserve to win. Button had a rocket, so the credit for his driver's title goes to Brawn.
Having said that I am sure that Mercedes will be super quick, and I pray the same for Ferrari. I really want to see another Alonso - Schumacher shootout.
Who will I be supporting? Ferrari!!
But I can not also pray that Schumacher has a disastrous return because I love him. He is the greatest driver of all time.
