wow...
nice thread once again.
Shumi is gonna be a dark horse this time. new car and different tires...
I am gonna, once again root for some other underdog this time too. Vettel is no more an underdog.
Maybe Kubica.

@aref
Thanks for the complements.
I was reading your last comments on the previous thread and was glad that we both share almost same way of thinking. One thing that most fans are missing about the last race is Renault has an advantage which was unmatchable by Ferrari and McLaren and that was using new engines, both Ferrari and McLaren were on old engines especially Alonso was using Monza engine which was on its third race and certainly the chances have suffered its fair share of hammering in Monza and Brazil.
I could easily say that Ferrari must have detune the engine so that a chance of engine blown up is at the minimum but then they make a big strategic mistake by covering one contender with both their drivers and not noticing the fact that Kubica is on prime tyres while Petrov and Rosberg has pitted undersafety car.
As for your choice of underdog for next season good choice, hope Renault give him a good car too. Another underdog is Rosberg if Mercedes could come up with a good car, as this season he has performed exceptionally well in a car which was having some troubles.

I really like Kobayashi. I believe you give him fast enough car and he can show what he is made of. That Japanese is freakin' insane when he really gets into the race.
And same is the case with Kubica (not insane Japanese part though, I mean). A decent Renault underneath him can do wonders.

Exactly a late pitstop was the main point of that time. It is quite amazing to think that they are trying to cover Webber with Alonso's pitstop who was already behind him at the start of the race, if he some how jumps Alonso in the pitstop it would be a real ace effort by Webber of this season. Webber drops from 5th to 12th because of his pitstop while Alonso was 4th at that time. They also forgets that Vettel is leading the race and Alonso needs to be 4th if Vettel remains at the top to win the title.
But for me Alonso was in a way too conservative mode and that cost him the title.
@aref
I also like Kobayashi, since he starts his career in Brazil 2009 because of 2 things one at that time we have seen 4 drivers were been replaced by 3 teams STR has replaced Bourdais with Alguesuari mid-season, Renault has replaced Nelson Piquet jnr with Romain Grosjean while Massa's injury results in Badoer for 2 races before having Fisichella in the other Ferrari and apart from Alguersuari neither Ferrari or Renault driver have impressed me with his performance.
Kobayashi have just did his first F1 run in Suzuka's Friday practice session before his arrival after Glock's injury in Brazil where he may have been a bit aggressive but I liked him when Button was on the radio asking his team to call Charlie and told him that Kobayashi is moving more then once in the defense while Brundle on the TV was saying what Kobayashi is doing is perfectly legal. Then his performance in Abu Dhabi GP last year was just amazing especially the overtake on Button was just perfect.
@Blackeye117
Don't forget one thing the F1 Fan Club image is been made by @alliereyaz so hats off for his effort.

alright.. thanks for welcome guys ...
this hiatus of race action is gonna be painful for me cause i can't stand VET as WDC ... i want races to resume ASAP, so that VET's title can be challenged...
that damn StarSports was showing races (in full ) won by VET all day today .. damn.. i couldn't watch obviously... it pains me to see any race now thinking ALO lost the title cause of that beep pit stop strategy by ferrari...
good that our Hulk is contributing in more constructive way now .. unusual to see him not threatening to eradicate/neutralize any HAM hater ... hopefully it will continue throughout the season.. but i m amazed that he (Hulk) didn't choose HAM's mclaren as an F1 club image ... why Hulk ??..
UK is right.. we should have RBR's image as a club image .. if it has to be an RBR car.. don't make it look like its VET's ...
Webber and Vettel make peace after epic championship battle
Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel have buried the hatchet after a season long duel for supremacy in the Red Bull team.
The duo, who looked at times as though they were shaping up to reprise the bitter Senna/Prost team rivalry of the 1990s, have revealed that they spoke at length during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend and put their differences behind them.

Hamilton for life.
btw im very P****** to c vettel races on starsports and he is making m sick. i will be very happy to c webber as a champion or alonso after hamilton. now the thing is that RBR and VET are now selfish and flying high, claiming this or that........ooooohhhhh!!!!
starsports didnt do the same with Hamilton or button.....any personal relations with VET
im waiting to c how one hit wonder (RBR and VET) will perform in 2011. coz Mclaren and Ferrari and there driver on Vengeance.....thts gonna b loosing fight for the RBR.
the one thing is making me happy is 2011 delhi gp not for this is in india (toba toba) but the possiblities for me to c race and to cheer for HAMMMMMMMMMMMIIIIIILLLLLLLLLTTTTTTTTTONNNNN I LOVE YOU..... or LETS GO LEWIS!!!! or i can make a sign board written I CAME HERE TO C ONLY HAMILTON, or EAT HAMILTON DUST etc etc....lot of ideas in my sleeves....
WOW!!!!
UK is right.. we should have RBR's image as a club image .. if it has to be an RBR car.. don't make it look like its VET's
no offense for any one, but if RBR car will be on club image it will count as favortism and will help supporters of RBR or vettel or webber.. the car which i postmortem is obselete version..... no from me. sorry

Rosberg: Mercedes will adapt to tyres
Nico Rosberg is confident that his Mercedes team will be able to get the best out of the Pirelli rubber next season.
Pirelli: We're right on target
Pirelli motorsport director Paul Hembery has no doubts that the Italian tyre manufacturer will be ready for the start of next season after a successful first test of the 2011 development rubber.
@alliereyaz
I kind of agree with your thinking that if RBR was used as new image it would mean the forum starter is biased towards that team and also like the way that you have used Brawn for the new car. I think the previous car that was from Honda was also been choosen because of availability of white spaces on that car which gives oppurtunity to create a design of ones liking.
@aref
Just to correct you a bit it was Vettel's second year when he become the runner up while he wins his first title in his 3rd year. Vettel debuted in 2007 for BMW in US GP to replace Kubica, while his first full season was with STR in 2008.

ah yes....got it.
I remember Eddie Jordon mentioning it on the last race that Vettel got a podium, driving toro rosso in 2008 on a really rainy day. i don't remember the track.

@genius83
Great job with the new thread. I would still have preferred a Red Bull, they were constructors champions so no bias there. Anyway, could we not have the car without bridgestone tires as they don't exist anymore? It's hair spitting I know
Btw, can you correct the times on the last day of Pirelli test. Your good friend was 7th, not 2nd. His time was a 1:41 757, almost the same as Rosberg.
