Thanks guys for jumping in this topic otherwise I was thinking that this topic is going to be end up just like the MotoGP topic.

Now for the RedBull VW saga, I don't think VW would like to put Porsche or AUDI name in F1. They both are big brands and have significant presence in motorsport history without a major part in F1 until now. Although in AUDI case, Auto Union and the four rings have some history in F1 though. These 2 brands have won LeMans 24h for the last decade or so as AUDI have won 8 out of the last 10 24h Le Mans while Porsche has just won it this season. So, I think with neither Skoda or Seat inline for F1 role, it will be between Lamborghini, Bentley and Buggatti and out of those 3 I would like to see Lamborghini just for the fact their emblem Raging Bull matches RedBull.

I think they really are quick. Merc, even though they haven't said anything, I feel like they are running detuned engines after Rosberg's DNF in Italy. Yes, it's still the fastest in the speed traps but not too efficient on corner edits. Combine that with a couple of setup mistakes and they're majorly off the pace.

It was just one off weekend for Mercedes. There seems no way Ferrari would come near to them in upcoming races.
I however, have started to doubt Honda's progress too. Seems like at very best they would be making it to Q3 occasionally in 2016

I don't think one or two wins will make it easier for Vettel to fight for the title because at the moment the point situation is showing that if Vettel wins all the remaining six races and Hamilton finishes everyone of those in second position, Hamilton will win the title with 7 points. So Vettel winning is not the only thing Hamilton also needs to retire in 2 of the next 6 races which is quite unimaginable but then again we are talking about F1 where sometimes the reliability factor comes into play once in 5 years but at such a moment where it could take away the chance of title(Schumacher, Suzuka 2006).

On the other hand I think we are going towards a brilliant end of a really boring season which could make this season a legend for years to come.
