This is a classic rookie mistake at the assembly plant, these connections have O rings in them which require a lube to help seal. looks like the person working on it forgot about the bucket/dispenser of lube thats on the edge of the workbench.

On the first morning after the repair, upon inspection, I noticed that the reserve coolant bottle for my Toyota Fortuner was almost empty. I promptly refilled it to the recommended mark using available coolant. I informed both Toyota Indus and Capital Motors about the situation, after this I had observed a gradual loss of coolant over several days, albeit in small quantities. However, after some time, the reduction in coolant level ceased. I suspect there may have been an air pocket in the system, which was gradually dissipating. Thankfully, the coolant level has now stabilized, and I'm relieved to report that it is no longer decreasing. Alhamdulillah."

Whenever the cooling system is opened for repairs or coolant replacement it is mandatory to remove air pockets.
Its astonishing that the dealership guys are not aware of that.

You should still bleed the system to make it completely air free because air will create hot spots in the engine which is not good.

As an engineer, I also knew that, and therefore after the repair, when they refilled the system with coolant, I asked them to purge the air. The technician told me that in a new car, there is no option for purging air, i also did not find any purging plug so couldnt do anything

A simple way to do is to start the car with radiator cap open, turn on heater and continue to add coolant while the tstat valve opens and the coolant level falls. Pressing the hose pipes also helps. You will see bubbles escaping. Keep adding until it starts to overflow and you see no bubbles escaping. Takes around 15 to 20 mins.
This method removes most of the air.
