price 1.7m is what many cops have quoted me.. yet to call master motors, since they r the one taking care of it.. while i may just get a test drive of one of them this weekend,

Yes, the one Police are using in Pakistan is not diesel but Petrol variant. It is less powerful than Hilux, consumes more or less same fuel (2.5 d4d) and you cannot use it for extreme off-roading. But who cares when you can get a DBUL KEAYBAN DALAA at such a cheap price tag

whats wrong with that?? - most vehicles are now using a plastic fuel tank, it can be shaped better and it has one very very very very good characteristic about it. It wont rust.

my ancient VW Golf mk2 had a plastic fuel tank - it was in perfect shape and was clean inside after being used for eons.

Even 2.4 ltr mitsubishi Galant engine isnt bad , according to the reviews it is manual transmission even that is fine if it is really for 17 lacs Brandnew

@qwertypoiu call up master motors private customer delivery is 12 weeks after booking. 2.8 D Cummins Diesel with 5 speed manual 4x2 & 4x4 in double or single cab variants is available. Tunland 4x2 & 4x4 Trucks are 100% imported to date

surely both variants does not FIT to SUV class but work horses in terms of comfort

The CPEC versions are kept entirely different from the public version ,because of theft of parts and their interchangeability . .
plastic tanks have proved to be more reliable and sturdy, so police shouldn't be bothered about it.
