Many thanks to all for showing concerns, advice, and kind words. Some of you have blamed me for that episode. I see it as friendly criticism which is to an extent valid. Like I did admit in my post, I once again would say it was indeed my mistake that I went to that fraudster's place and trusted him which was, of course, a blunder. But I have learnt my lesson the hard way. As they say:"Mistakes are a part of being human." I am now battle-hardened and eligible to advise others on such matters.
Actually, I was inexperienced and it was my first trip on my own with my family. You think of people what you are. Meaning: if you are honest, you think people are honest too. This may be weird for some, it is a plain fact. Being honest is also a hazard in Pakistan. I have learnt that one should be honest, but alert and sharp at the same time, especially in Murree or any tourist destination in Pakistan and even abroad.
