I am planning to buy my first car and i've a budget of 8 Lakhs
I am self employed and earning 35k per month so please kindly suggest me according to my monthly expenses maintenance etc
I have these options in my mind.
Honda Civic 2004-2005
Mitsubishi Lance 2004-2005
Please suggest me which one should i go for i've only these above two in my mind.

Dear I never always recommend Mehran, cultus or any 660cc as a first car because until or unless you are an expert don't jump to big cars .... Secondly there are high chances that cars get damage during learning so first priority should be given to parts and resale

Sir i've already Mehran and Cultus in my house and ALHAMDULLILAH i've been driving from 3 to 4 years now but now i am going to buy my own car.The reason i want to go with Sedan is that we already have two suzuki hatchbacks and i can manage the cost of parts and i don't want to resale the car unless i find one with mechanical issues.

OK .... Then you can go for sedan but the biggest issue is that you will not be able to find a super condition sedan in 8 lac ,,, such cars are mechanic's first love these days and still if you want to buy a low milage super condition car it will not cost less than a million so better increase your budget and buy car in new models

mostly my drive is inside Lahore through canal , generally i try drive fast
a few times a year i,ll visit isb /muree
intend to get navigation , immobilizer and few other techies installed

Dear the invoice of brand new gli auto is 18.80 and own is 1.20 lac registration is around 70k and for navigation with maps 30k .... So total will be 21lac

Brother what do u suggest is spending 3 Lac extra on GLI is worth it or i should go for CITY?
City was my automatic choice had its new generation been launched , which is not going to be launched by 2017 it seems

Visit your nearest Honda dealership and clearly tell them that I need a car with invoice of 2016 manufactured in 2016 ... When should I get it booked for this delivery .... Then they will update you on this

Here is a thing: my brother's new job requires him to drive a 4x4 truck. So if he learn on mehran or other hatchback, would it be difficult for him to handle truck later or not.

Did Michael Schumacher or any other great driver learn driving on a Range Rover or a BMW sedan? I don't think so. It is NOT necessary to learn driving on a Sedan or any 4x4.

A hatchback (mehran) as your first car and to learn driving will be a better choice. Easier to drive, easier to maintain economically. Once you master driving it, it will be easier for you to drive other cars.

Dear as a beginner you need a small car like Mehran for easy handling and it needs all your six senses to work actively as a beginner ... Initially you need confidence and road sense before you move to a big car secondly at learning stage there are chances of an accident so in case you have a big or expensive car you have to bear great loss as well

Dear a car can be invoiced 2016 only if its manufactured and delivered in 2016 .... There are two things to be kept in mind
One is model and one is year of manufacture .... The things which normally makes a man confuse is that in November and December manufacturers confuse people with mentioning next year model on invoice which is not actually model .... Have a look there is a line mentioned on invoice which states " this car is manufactured in year 2016 " .... At the time of registration they input the value of YOM ... So model will not be counted as actually model but year of manufacture does.

Dear after thoroughly checking the car body for accident / repair the most important thing to focus is the engine blow .... And thirdly suspension .... If this car's engine is OK aad well as suspension then max 8 lac otherwise as per your gut feel
