Dear All,

i have a passo 2007 was driving it yesterday around 100 and all of a sudden car lost its acceleration and started doing missing and is shivering on low rpm, i have shown it to few workshops, one said that its 3rd cylinder is not working, car is on 2 cylinders, tappit are jam as checked on computer, another opened tappit cover and said that tappits are fine, 3rd cylinder compression is hardly 25% and you need to overhaul the engine.

Please give your valuable inputs and please let me know any reasonable and good workshop in rwp/isb,
secondly in case if the engine needs overhaul would u suggest overhauling it or swapping it as one mechanic told me that these engines are made from aluminum and aluminum overhaul is not successful here.

Kuch bhi nahi hai....Spark plug chnge krne hain....i faced same issue..

6 months pehle almost ramazan se kuch din pehle kiye thay spark plug change, they are saying ke yeh spark plug short karahay hai woh cylinder, and its almost 120000km on ODO

Still chk the condition of the plugs....plus also its wires/connection...sometimes its wires get rust and cause break in current....120k km is not yet enuf for engine overhaul

Dear you can make it a bit comfortable by some modiciations but upto a certain limit not to a greater extent... you better change the car and move to cultus or khyber

Yes dear you can add cruise in some cars but only those who have provisioning of cruise in the ECU for full option cars... you also need steering chakri and buttons to get it installed

Dear first of all make sure all the plugs are working properly and car is tuned... secondly yes if a cylinder is weak it starts giving troubles .... in case of japanese cars like vitz and passo i recommend japanese used assembly to be replaced but if you have a good competent mechanic he can overhaul it as well ... few months back i got a overhauked the vitz engine and it costed me around 30k

Dear first of all this car looks like swapped engine ... may be he has done otheralterations as well ... secondly you need to check with a good mechanic to open and get it checked ... if its not working properly then you may feel lots of jerks and sounds in the car

Dear for engines and gears you need to visit bilal gunj and peshawar bazar .... and for a good gear always go for a gear which is still attached to engine... the gear which are already kept seperated are mostly faulty ... it happened with my accord cf3 and it took me 4 gears to change and then finally settle for a good one which costed me 34k
