well i think you are talking about panels .... honda people are not good in dry denting and not in painting as well ... it is better if you can bring your car for physical inspection ... hopefully if paint is not damaged then it can be done through dry denting ... other wise i can manage a good painter as well

although in technology toyota is ahead of civic .... but i have seen so many major accidents of new corolla which means serious technical design flaws so civic is better

yes i dont thnk there is any manufacturing fault in car .... if car is not misused then you can buy it . . but if you have a budget for city then its more recimmended .. liana parts are expensive

Hi Vega and other experts, I have Carby cultus 2007 and have few queries:

1- My car is 80k driven now and as suggested by the mechanic I want to go for changing timing belt and timing bearing. Also it is leaking oil which I think is from the seals so will have to get them replaced when open for timing belt work. Currently I am using HX3 20w50 oil. Please suggest if it is right time and I should go for timing belt work?

2- Some times (say 2-3 out of 10) I hear some gharr gharr (rattle) sound from gear box when I cold start the car in morning and it disappears when engine gains its normal temp. Please advise what it is and can I ignore it or should do something about it. Some suggest its no big issue and leave it as it is.

3- There is some chhan chhan sound from water pump but water flow is fine as seen in radiator. So should I change the pump or let it run. There is no heat issue at all. Fan is auto and tstat is missing.

Will appreciate if can get answers point by point. Much thanks.
