Well city is not a bad car but comparatively vitz and belta are far better in drive .... every car has its own pros and cons

There is ~3lac or more difference in old shape ~2k7 and and new shape Vitz 2k11 onwards.
Is it worth the difference?
I mean other than the shape.
Economy. Drive features etc.

Or should I just save even more money and go for a good condition 99 Vitz?

All the vitz generations are different in technology and drive ... opting for a very old car is not a good idea ... but if you can manage to buy a 2007 -2010 model 1300cc vitz then its best in its class

actually there are two different things one is year of manufacture and one is model .... on every car invoice there is mentioned year of manufacture and model both ... in last two months of the year people stops buying cars just to make sure that they get their cars registered with latest year model which eventually plays role in resale of the car but manufactureres confuse people by mentioning model as next year model whereas the simple rule is that excise people mentions model in the registration which is actually the year of manufacture on invoice ... so dont get confuse and just simply ask from seller what is the mentioned model on registration book and pay as per model mentioned over there ... even doesnt matter if car is registered in next year
