When junaid was trying to cross the glacier, he slipped and lost his balance. Our hearts skipped a beat because after slipping he slid down few yards. But luckily he stopped himself against a rock otherwise he would have crashed against the rocks at lakes' edge or would have been a not-so-tasty meal of the fish
Zaheer took a wise decision, took gull nawab along and crossed that portion by crossing rocks adjacent to lake. That was definitely easier so all of us followed him and crossed a number of rocks but finally crossed that portion. After a hard hard trek of almost half an hour, the largest lake arrived. Most of us had already have a tough time and i was fiercely down with stomach bug and nausea which i was carrying since yesterday and i still blame those chappli kababs (which we ate at jandrai) for my sickness. After witnessing several extremely steep glaciers butt, farhan and junaid called it a day and decided not to risk further trying. I too was feeling too sick to even stand so i was definitely not going ahead. Zaheer tried for some time but returned back. Only shah g and waqas took off from that unknown lake for our ultimate destination; katora lake.
We thought that the trek would be easy, not fair!
