yes people do get the new engine num registered on the book after swapping the new engine in it
no new engine number is not registered on the book yet it will be registered with the transfer of ownership. i ve the engine purchase slip with me .
now who ever will buy it if he transfer it on his name he wil be issued a new passport size book from excise and new engine will get registered on that

i had a plan to swap a b16 turbo in it earlier thats why bought it :). now i ve changed my mind of swap because of lack of time from busy routine other wise car is a gem for sure and real headturner i never got such attention on even my ex merc and current bmw
fuel average is around 10-11km/l in city, never took it to highway
