Well hello again JZ.
After a weird noise coming from my intake last night and screwing my date, i decided today i shall be the one screwing it in return.
So at 3.30pm i decided to start the car and try to hear the same sound, but sadly the sound had disappeared for me to record it
Now what i had noticed over the past few weeks was this clip being immensely close to my intake, image below.

So Pooya decides to do what he has never done before, opening up the entire INTAKE KIT, yep i did msg jz asking to wish me luck, with his blessings i slowly dissembled the kit.
Proof below :

I then took a few cottons and used a nail polish remover to clean the butterfly
After which upon investigation i figured my intake has been damaged over a period of time
to which i cried, sniffff.

Now that i knew this filter had a filter from inside as well and that i can run it for now until JZ sends me another i started assembling it back which mind you needed science from someone who aint into cars as such.
This damn black wire on top was annoying me so i took out my filter and had the wire placed under the kit.

And walla
a JOb well done.
Somethings to note : the previous setup was in a way bad, cause it was to close to the engines heat sucking in hot air
despite this being a cold intake, this was rectified by running the fuel wire below the intake and making sure the kit was properly clamped onto the butterfly (squeezing the rubbers in as much as possible), also when i started the car after this setup, the engine check light came on and then vanished after i tightened all the clamps a bit more.
What is now left to see is if this setup will cause my hood to scratch against the kit, how am i to do so ? any ideas ??
Hope this small lil guide helps those installing their kits on honda 2001 to 2005
