I am afraid thats how a used car market is all around the world its totally normal for someone to negotiate you can play tough not saying that it always works. you cant judge a person whether he is serious or not every query should be treated as serious regardless of what you think.I have bought and sold many cars i would personally never travel great distances until i am relatively certain about the condition and the price of the car.Best of luck!

Yeah serious buyer negotiates but in person with cash in hand. if you wouldn't travel, you were not a serious buyer to begin with. besides, a real buyer would at the leasssst make a call to begin with, rather than sms / pm.. jo call pe paise kharch nai skta wo garri kya le ga..

Potential buyer will call and fix a meeting to see the car he wont talk in PMs sry m not being rude hav sold my city within 5 hours of the add. The buyer called me asked my address came n gave me the full payment within 2 hours. I would love to own the rides kept by OP his corolla, accord and now this merc
