I think its not a bad deal at all in this price. Even though it is getting old model and thus gradually losing device maintainers, it still has a lot of support from the Developer Community. Custom Roms, Kernels, etc

And with 2GB of RAM on this version, it can well handle 5.1.1 (Unofficial CM 12.1) and that puts it ahead of many new sets out there.

In market, refurbished and repaired american sets with logo, without box and accessories are being sold for around 14k. So this phone with box and all stuff definitly deserves this much. I even have its original screen sheet in the box too. Haha.

1GB android phones are a joke and a slap on customer face. They lag due to less ram.

This S3 having 2GB ram is 'guaranteed' to be faster than any 1GB ram android phone, even if that 1GB ram android phone has an octa core processor. Sounds silly, but that's the fact, as latest apps eat a lot of ram.

With all these social and IM apps running in background, 1GB ram android phone is not enough for stock user and it lags.

I highly recommend this phone due to its 2GB ram, for a lag free experience.
