Fuel average 2022 Alto VXR

Hello pakwheelers. Hope all are doing good Alhamdulillah.

This is to consult, that I have recently bought Suzuki Alto VXR 2022. Mostly I get 13.5 to 14 average kmpl. And on highway I got 15 average. According to other user reviews the average is above 17 kmpl.
My car is around 5000km driven. And 1st service done by PakSuzuki. As I purchased their Extended warranty service.
In which they changed the oil, oil filter and air filter (charged).
Firstly I thought the car is in its break in period that's why the average is low, but still it's the same. And I hardly drive fast.

are u driving very short distances when u r getting 13/14 avg?

involving lots of speed breaks and stop and go?

r u shifting alot ot just letting it stay in small gears and high RPMs?

what is ur speed when u get 15 KM/l?

to get best out of it, u need to shift to top gear as early as possible and keep the RPM low.

the air pressure in tyre shud be 34/35 as recommended.

Do check the quality of fuel u r getting.

this little car can return u uptp 19 easily if u drive gently.

Air pressure is 30. Maybe that's an issue. I already drive with low rpm on higher gears. But sometimes it also gives knocking sound. Plus I have also checked on highway. As I have taken this car khi to bahawalpur few days back.

With air pressure of 30. I m getting 20 to 22 on log. 18 in city. Just one thing i practically do usually is that i shift gear between the rpm of 2000 to 3000. Alto doesn't show rpm, but can be judged with accelator.

brother i am getting 21-22 within city (Lahore) and 25-26 on motorway. Tyres pressure 30psi with light foot.

at what speed in KPH you get 25-26 KM/l on motorway? with or without AC? i believe it wud be 70 to 80 max

well I have 2022 model too .. and i regularly start driving this car last year.. at that time i had picanto .. mostly prefer picanto .

since i bought this car.. If i m driving on Shahrae Faisal .. evening time.. (karachi people understand that how much traffic we have on shahare faisal in the evening_) i am getting 14.4 avg..

sometime back i got night shift.. in night v.v.less traffic on the roads then i was getting like 17.5 or 18 avg ..

above all avg with AC.

14 is not that bad . explain ur daily commute bro..

Earlier i had around 16km pr liter now it reduced to 14...i am also in khi my commute daily is from MA Jinnah road and its full of traffic. I am unable to figure our why average fuel dropped

bro since 1st day i m getting 14.4 15 avg on shahrae faisal full traffic u know in the evening traffic condition my commute is FTC building to Air port.

normally i m on vacation not going office it gives me easily 17 18 and without AC ...20+

so if wanna improve ur fuel avg i drive fast .. not too fast.. if u wanna improve then ap pyar se gari chalae..slow throttle then it will give
15 16 for sure..
