I think you have misunderstood the concept of choke.
Choke is used to flood the cold engine(give more fuel) so that it can ignite easily thus helping in cold start. But once engine becomes hot, too much fuel is unable to be burnt completely thus engine start hiccuping/missing and what not. (that's why you are required to turn off the choke once engine is warmed up)
So if anything, you will get less economy with choke On.
