Thank you brother. I never achieved above 13.5kmpl with ac on city. So planning to buy a good car if i have to stick with average around 12-13.
Civic has lots of well known issues like that of AC, staring wheel and battery etc.
So planned for Grande.

I have grande 2019 i am getting 11 to 12 km/l within city on motorway i am getting 17/l AC doesn't make any difference

So i started using this app in march 2020. Here are the details (Grande FL, sep 2017). Plz note costs are higher due to Hi-Octane usage.
i am a frequent M2 traveller, on motorway i get about 13.5 to 14.5 km/l at 130 km/h (actual speed, not speedometer reading) with AC on. Same in islamabad. However, in lahore it drops to somewhere between 12 to 13 km/l due to bad traffic.

Toyota grande's speedometer is not accurate for some reason, even with OEM rims and tyres. So for those who say at 120km/h, the actual speed is 110km/h. I maybe wrong but this is the case with my car.

I cross.checked with gps several times and difference is +-3km..total.stock

Not always...there are areas where they fine...people drive as per their choice on motorway. Khair could be a problem with ur car. Have u checked speed from obd scanner??

No i have not. Since i know the meter reading is inaccurate by 10km/h at 120 km speed, i drive accordingly. And except for Kalar Kahar salt range, speed limit is 120 Lahore/Islamabad motorway, irrespective of the area.

Which GPS/app do you use? I've been using Ulysee Speedometer since 2012. It's quite accurate as far as i can tell.

I was fined in corolla at 135km/h
On 129km/h you will stay at 120km/h according to gps. Above then that isn't fine.

Also refresh is slower on gps....like interval based

EXACTLY!! That's what i am saying. 138km/h means 128 km/h in reality.

So what you mean to say is that you drive at 140 and think it's 130? The best way to check that is to cruise besides another car and see, GPS always has lag and can't be trusted with numbers especially while going on the motorway where signals are jumping from tower to tower

Sir I v both FL n pre FL grande.
I used to cruise on 129 km/h on FL n some times they stop me while saying I'm on 133 or 135 . I show them cruise n let away.
Sometimes I'm in lane three n crossing at 140 km even but they don stop as there s margin in fast lane at over taking...rest is luck .. I don't apprehended sometimes even on 200

The thing is that these cameras only jot down the speed of one car, so if you have a car Infront of you, the camera will be focused on them, not you

Brother. GPS doesn't jump from tower to tower.

It's linked with satellites. GPS is one of the most accurate methods of double checking your speed.

Heck, GPS is even used to guide missiles.. this is merely a car. The lag is negligible and better than finding a different car to race with you. Actually much more accurate than that method!
