1.8 hands down. I have also kept 1.6 brand new from 0 to 18K kms in 2015-16.

I've read lots of reviews and almost every grande user claims 13-14kmpl.
Whereas my cousin has Altis 1.6 2017 and it never exceeded 9-10kmpl.

i am also wondering same. i have manual 6 speed 1.6 but it never goes above 9 or 10in city n 12 on long.

1.8 comes with a triple tronic transmission with CVT, may its better than simple CVT? Who knows! But every Grande owner is happy with its mileage even on short commutes.

This is from Lahore, drivng in peak traffic hrs and i drive with some really heavy foot.. no claims..true figures...this is seriously good mileage under extreme traffic. No other variant gives these figures under short routes/heavy braking kind of driving. My route is from AIT to gaddafi to cannt and via canal
Sometimes i have to remain stuck even for 6-7 minutes on idle

In all my 3 trips on highway, mileage was 14.5-16kmpl..with average speed of 140-150kmph..i find it very good. In same traffic situation in city my manual city 1.3 aspire gave me max 11.5 and upgrade of 500cc over city has caused no big difference at all...auto is another comfort which cannot be ignored
