Fuel Consumption?Altis 1.6 vs. Altis Grande?

I was about to post my meter pictures and observations and then I saw your post! I can vouch for the same avgs.

Out of all Corolla auto variants, Gli 1.3 AT have worse average. IMO Grande return best fuel economy then comes Altis 1.6 and Gli AT is at bottom of the list.

In my case so far, Altis 1.6 gives around 12 to 13.5 with A/C in city depending upon traffic conditions. My colleague had Gli 1.3 AT, max he got on M2 was 12.5 with A/C, In city it remained 9-10 km/l, Reason is obvious a 84hp engine with around 1300 kgs body weight and 4-Speed AT.

I'm having issues with Toyota heads up display (HUD) as it does not turn on when I start the car. The issue came when my grande was parked under a bright sunny day. The HUD only heats up and displays nothing. Any solution to the problem?

Sold it in July 2016 when it was about 10,000 kms driven. In Oct 2016 got Grande and in Dec
2017 got Grande facelift. No doubt cvt gives better mileages. Been getting 14 and currently 12.5 in heavily congested PWD Road, Expressway and Murree Road. Face lift is now just 400 kms away to hit 55,000 kms mark.

Moving forward, Toyota launched 1.6 with CVTi. How is the fuel average of Altis 1.6 CVTi as compared to Altis 1.8 CVTi. Any personal experience?
