My car has O/D button and its located right on the gear lever. I keep it on all the times even within the city.
Its fully automatic for sure. But the configuration buttons (P,R,N,D,D2,L) changes little bit with every model. Toyota's other models may have different, Cheverlot, Mercedes, GM, Nissan, etc. may come with different denominations. But functions will be same.

After buying from show room, I took my car to Toyota Garden Motors and they pour T-IV oil which is absolutely not recommended for CVT engines. After my study, I confirmed and then re-confirmed its exact oil, and then used TOYOTA CVT FLUID TC which was actually recommended.
