What is the fuel average for Toyota Hilux VIGO Automatic (duel cabin) with 3.0 liter D-4D, 1KD-FTV diesel engine with city driving without AC? Thanks
7-8 KM per Liter.
Thanks for the reply.
My Vigo is giving 6.5 km per liter only without AC! :o
What should I do to improve consumption? Please advise.
my pardon for raising up the dropped! but are u serious
6 and 8km a litre that is not good
my axio gives me 10 in city with ac and i was thinking of going for a vigo
prado 3000cc petrol gives 5 kmpl with AC, and vigo is a high consumption vehicle as well
6-7 KM/L without AC.
clean out the whole intake system and get the diesel injection codes pulled and any get data for the current state of tune.
finally drive it properly, I have seen people use it like a sports car.
2700 (2TR-FE) Toyota petrol engine in 2004 Prado Automatic with aircon gives 9.34km/ litre in city & for long run its 11.8 km / litre much much better then any sedan.
local VIGO 8700 km on ODO is giving 435 km in 50 litre diesel approx 8.7 km/l
my vigo is giving around 6-7 km/l with AC running!!!!!but i am still not sure for accuracy as my Vigo's injectors are still needed to be replaced

Sallam and good day to all. I was having a same problem with my vigo champ thai 3.0 with vn turbo since i bought 3yrs back. It was giving me an average fuel consumption of 7~8 km/l in city without Ac and now mashAllah its doing 14.7~15km/l even after getting 18inch tyres . I did some research on the engine and found few basic ways on getting such performance.1- Always use good quality of fuel preferably getting from COCO sites.2- install external air intake system with large dia so that air can flow easily.3- keep the air filter and intercoller clean. Get it clean on weekly basis. Or get your air filter replaced after ever oil change. 4- get you turbo serviced after every 12k kms5- use zik oil 7000 10w50 in winter and 20w50 in summer. 6- get your fuel tank wraped in temperature insulation sheet. 7- get your catlatic convertor cleaned 2wice a year to get better exhaust flow. 8- try to drive at rpms under 2k. You know what i mean speed junkies for sake pickup trucks its a pickup not a rally machine on stock condition
Ozzy 03244089727 by the way its now doing 15.3km/L in city 🤣🤣🤣
