Actually it's been 1.5 years and my wife has no complaints. We are very satisfied with this product.

I started this post. Back then, I ended up buying Sharp (ES-FE710BZ-W) Front Loader washing machine. It's working perfect so far.
It had only one year warranty. I had to claim warranty once for a small problem. But their customer service is pathetic. Their guy charged 500 Rs per visit for his bike's fuel. That shows their mentality very well. Luckily, my machine had a small problem and no parts were needed replacement. I'm afraid they'd charge for that as well. I don't know what kind of warranty is this where you have to pay.

Other than the customer service, the product itself isn't that bad. It has been working quite well for more than one and half a years now.

Yes you are right, customer service is really an issue. But quality does matter. Generally imported machines do not need quick repair/ warrantee claim. Plus these are more energy efficient and work efficiently. UpTill now, I am very satisfied with Bosch, very efficient and cleans the cloths excellent. They have also provided one year warrantee for parts and 10 years for motor.

I hv bought Bosch WAK24210GC and very satisfied with machine.
But I think this model has been replaced by WAK24260GC. You can purchase that one. Its made in Turkey.

front loading is for heavy use, like laundries or something, and are more expensive..
for normal home usage, top loading is efficient and practical enough... been using it all my life, no problem at all!!

Front loaders are much efficient. It uses less water, less detergent and likely less electricity too. The only downside is price and you gotta bend to load/unload

I have been using LG's 8kg front load inverter WM, bought it 2 years ago. Usage is 6 to 8 times a month.

As compared to our conventional top load WM water, detergent and electric power consumption is considerably less.

Cleans very efficiently, no more stains on cuffs and collars especially of white and light color shirts. Also safe on delicate fabric.

As @HellsGuardian said, only downside is the price tag. But if one considers it's benefits then price seems justifiable.

Top loading use so much excess water you won't believe it.

In a time when water resources are drying up... Top loaders need to be banned.

Totally agreed. And this is a one time investment, even though i myself bought top load because i was short of money that time but now i regret it. So its better to wait a few months, save up and buy front loader. A good brand like Siemens bosch LG can last 10+ years easily. I suppose Samsung etc are also good if you take care of it and do not abuse it.

I bought samsung top loader in 2018 for 54K. Now its nearly 90K. That time front loaders were twice the price but now i feel i should have bought front loader mainly because it uses less water and washes better. I just feel so bad when i see so much ground water going down the drain, thousands of people have no access to drinking water and we take this forgranted.

Same. I regret buying a top loader because the excessive amount of water it waste.

Unbelievably large quantity. Makes me sad.

I will buy a front loader and sell the top loader. Cleaning is ok but the wastage of water and inefficiency is worse.
