what you should do is block the way the rat(s) gets into the engine compartment. block the source. it probably gets in from underneath the engine, get some sort of a sheet installed underneath the engine of your car, which prevents any such access to your engine.

Yeah that makes sense. So i'll spray some kind of rat repellent like Xulfiwar bhai suggested "Ammonia" and put a trap on the floor.

I do have the usual protective sheet installed but i don't think you can ever cover the whole area.

@poster as pesticides there are mouse replnts too budy....go to a pesticide store and ask for it,there are smal granular preprations for it,sprays etc etc...the one i rmember is lanirat by novartis..!!

there is a trap for rats and it is very effective. it is just a book but it doesnt have pages, the cardboard door insides are covered in glue. you just put food on the book and the rat will come after it and get trapped.

just go with plain old kurraki works all the time, i once killed one with those sticky mats and thrown 3 sealed packs of same into the trash bin only coz the way these sticky pads work, or in short you wanna kill someone kill it fast and quick no need to kill like as said in movies.

i have got some chemical from college road that kills the rat but not in ur garage or terris that the mouse runs away and dies........its black powder and applied on tomato piece

the older methods of pills and trap-u need to b throwing those dead rats away

best way to kill vermin - engine coolant, marinade a piece of food - more likely meat, it will kill them for sure.

ethylene glycol poisoning causes glass like shards to form in your blood - and kills you internally.

The other is - a very hungry cat. - it should be hungry because Ive seen the fizool Pakistani cats who dont care about eating mice or rats. Behiss billiyan. - according to ammi dearest they are like our Karachi police.

Hmm last time I heard a noise in my room and turned out to be a Rat hiding under dressing table. I tried to kill him but he ran under my bed and under my bed its full of junk of my car/computers lol.

So I ignored him and tried to sleep but than i saw his tail hanging from back of my bed near to my sleeing little daughter so I decided at 1:00AM its time to kill, cant take risk of him near my daughter

Action started at 1am ended at 130 some how managed to get him into the washroom and that was it phew. Turned out he came from the old windows type a/c hole in the wall. got that fixed properly now :p.

yara ive lived near a fertiliser plant for years and pure ammonia smells terrible. If chacha chooha can smell food from miles away the same is the case wid ammonia. He might not come.

but u cant ammonia the car daily. It smells bad and may harm the paint. Killing the ******* is a longterm solution.
