Did that in my teens a friend with original engine fx did 150 many times and i also gave it a successful try.

put altos or cultus engine in ur fx or just add sum stage 1 mods to ur car like ground wires, plugs, air filters and muffler and mayb ur dream wud be fullfilled(A)

why dont you get a santro and swap its engine with your fx engine if your so in love with ur fx.. i uess this way you might reach 150km with little modification

I have had my FX since 1987. It is a 1985 Japan Assembled model with 1987 registration. My affections for the car knows no bounds. It still gets up to 120K.

I feel FX is all-round a better car than Mehran. I know because I had my father's '96 Mehran to compare it with.

I have always kept it on petrol. Never installed CNG. Probably that is why in all these years it has undergone one complete overhaul and once only gasket & rings changed.

The fastest I ever could get out of my FX was slightly less than 130K. That too in the early 90s when the car is still quite new.

But that is not the issue here. The issue is the claim that it does 18KM/liter. I have never experienced that sort of a mileage in almost 2 decades from my FX. Even on the highways it never gave more than 15+KM/liter. Now-a-days around 13+Km/liter on highway. That is the honest truth.

No FX owner that I personally know claims anything remotely similar.

we had an fx and drove it 250,000 kms before selling it off. engine was rebuilt twice i remember. 18km/hr no way. with my driving and AC it gave 12.5 max. however it used to reach 150km/hr(do the whole meter) easy.have 2 eye witnesses and one is a pw member talking about my school days b.t.w

dont do it with FX, it is lighter in weight so cant be controlled at 150..its just a suggesion!

Well maybe on a gradual and constant slope it might have been possible, otherwise it should be included in Ripley's Believe It Or Not.
