How good is Galaxy Tab 7 in terms of screen and performance ? Does it have dialler app for making calls with local sim installed ? I'm planning to have the galaxy tab 7 or the upcoming 7.7 with AMOLED display.

Tab is excellent in terms of screen quality
its SC-LCD .visibility works great for me and also its viewing angles
in the car are excellent i love it .
7 inch size is perfect for in car apps
the only draw back . u need to peuchase car cradle for it
worth 1 k extra

i have the 3g version so i do
1. Make calls and route them through my audio via AUX input
2. Receive text
3. Use Sygic Navigation.
4. Play my Audio and Videos as well.
5. Recieve data from my cars ECU . for engine parameters.

better than OEM toyota indash .

Absolutely, I'm also looking to have one instead of OEM toyota indash system.
Can you confirm me the part no. of the 3g version you got, so i can ensure the part no. i have already shortlisted. Also did you get this from abroad or bought locally?
