some people can,t come out of suzuki /toyota etc so they will say car is crap. no offence to no one.i am selling cars for last 3 years in UK and know how cars feel like.
about Geely ,,,,so it,s just new arrival in pakistan so people with resale thinking will not go for it ,but if u wana keep it for urself than u will love the ride

congrats on ur geely.nice car.at least better than santro exec or cultus efi.i have a proton SAGA.i had a mehran and i drove a alto and cultus efi too.i pinched its interior and the leather came b/w my fingers.also the engine sounded like a diesel one. The fact remains....everybody loves these cars but they fear the resale value even they get killed in a road accident at 60kph after buying a mehran/santro boxies.

getting this in 800k,,,,,,,,,,,,my god,,,,,,,,when u can get a very dependable IDSI engine in 850k,,,,,,,,,,,why wud someone buy this unknown engine in such high money,,,,,,,,,,,and above all when its chinese,,,,,,,,

i can make an FX with ABS brakes but who knows what my ABS means,,,,,,,,,,,,,,does it mean ANTI LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM or ANTI BRAKING System

what would be a better choice between cultus vxri and Geely?? they bother are few thousand above 6.5Lac

ofcourse geely,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but cultus is 632k vxri and geely is 700k,,,,,,,,so why buy so costly undependalbe cars,,,,,,,,,when u can buy a city by only adding 1.5 lac more

There is a developing time for a creation to reach maturity, be it China or anu other nationa of this World.

Talking about Mechanical, it is no big deal. There are certain mechanics even in Paksitan who are capable of building a very dependable car from scratch. Even our family has some of that breed.

Talking about various sensors used for metering.... they are still no big deal. Many a countries get there make up parts from China. And we are using those things as Standard even in US and UK.

Now the catch...
Where China is lagging at the moment is Computeronics and Logic. Remeber, this is a field of mere experience, as expertise and independence in this feild can only be attained by trial and error.
Or the way to follow is always open (which we usually do and ironically are some times proud of it)

So, give china a break. Geely is special as it is China's first car to be going to US/UK markets, hence making a breakthrough here for China. It is big. Even for a thougnt cause one is entering a market of Inventors of modernday autologics.

So give China a break here. And one more thing.. I can support the thought of backing Adam's Revo, though faulty, as its a Pakistani built, but...
