today add in Nawa-e-waqt newspaper.
2yrs/50000kms warranty for ck.
what else is needed? use it for 50k kms and then sell it.i think soon china will introduce disposable cars

A frd of mina visited their showroom in johar town.
According to the sales person

1 - Geely has 1300 CC COROLLA MPFI engine.which came in 95-6 corolla model.
2 - Indepenedent suspension as in like cultus or civic.
3 - ground clearance of appraox 6 inches.
4 - Bank leasing will be available within 2-3 weeks.
5 - 55L CNG cylinder.
6 - Cuurently availabe in 4 colors in pakistan. white,black,silver and colden.
7 - Parts price list in not availble at the moment but will b after a week.
8 - delivery in 15 days.wihtout any OWN.

There is no mention of Geely in the chinadaily article u pointed out except this: "Toyota Motor Corp filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against Geely, the privately-owned compact car maker in eastern Zhejiang Province last year, but lost the case. " plus it is a really old (2004) article.
and as mentioned earlier Geely has since licenced the engine from Toyota for the CK.

I cant wait to come back to Lahore and check out the CK for myself. I already own a QQ and although that is a great car in 800cc but i feel the need for a 1300cc sedan and this looks perfect! I hope it drives as good as it looks.

if they hav used toyota's engine than the problem can b body parts etc.,
hope they cover this n make it a HIT, giving tension 2 100cc so much old models n some 1300cc models at near prices

Considering the price of Rs.699,000/- for 1.3 CNG, we can compare it to Proton Saga at Rs.679,000/- (Rs.20,000 cheaper)

Proton is a better company as compared to geely and its cars are already being liked by customers abroad.

But the difference between these two is
1) Carburetor Engine in Saga Vs Efi in geely
2) Geely is spacious than saga
3) Geely shape is better (it depends on personal liking)
4) Saga has original Mitsubishi Engine
5) Saga comes with German brand CD Player
6) Saga has parking sensors
7) Geely comes with 5 alloy wheels
8) Drive quality (I think Saga shold have better ride and handling as Proton is famous for it because of Lotus influence)
9) Saga comes in 2 colours while geely in four colours
10) Gears of Saga are slicker than geely (my personal experince while both of the cars are standing in showrooms)
