this is the information i got from a Chinese website, i believe the CK in Pakistan will have the same specs as available on net.

...It said that Geely announced the usage of Toyota 8A engines in the Chinese company's advertisement, which was called improper competition. In March 2003, Geely decided not to use Toyota-branded engines any more and speeded up research and development of its own engines instead. In 2002, the MR479Q engines, the first one developed by Geely itself, rolled off the production line and soon started mass production. Immediately, the automaker launched another engine project to produce higher-level products, including CVVT engines. Now Geely has finally launched the JL4G18 engines after efforts of nearly three years with investment of hundreds of millions of yuan. It is capable of making 50,000 JL4G18 engines a year."

The reason I was asking was if there was any aftermarket engine support. For example, Karakoram Motor's Lifan 520 uses the engine out of a Mini, so there was available performance parts like superchargers.

795k isnt a bad deal considering the prices of cars in pakistan these days but its the mentality of our people considering Pakistan assembled cars with TOOTA emblem as BEST IN TOWN and chinese as crap, ignoring the fact that these CHINESE CRAPS are penetrating the whole car market slowly providing QUALITY with safety...

that is the problem with Chinese car manufacturers, poor marketing, poor management, cheap cars & no response from the dealer.

This car seems quite attractive, but I will never buy or advise anyone to buy a Chinese car for the next twenty years (till China reach the japanese Standard)
because Chinese cars lost their decency after a year, the color loses its shine even if you take care of it

In this price tag, there are a no. of good options available, for example,

Used Chevy Optra
Indus Corolla
Honda Civic 2001+ model
City 2004+ model
or any new car of 1000cc without trunk

No offence to anyone, it is just my point

good for people who didnt effort,as it is cheap with 13000cc engine..i was talking to novelty motors,they said parts are with them and there is no prblm regarding engine,as engine is like corolla,so mechanics has no difficulty facing it...
i think forget abt the resale...life only comes once,enjoy this with cheap price and with fully loaded specs....bunda sari zindagi paisa jama karta rhta hai.but corolla aur civic dream he reh jati hai.as car leasing is on halt....better than cultus and coure...i will try to buy:* this 1...as i cant effort biggers...
