@jaan99 This card is not available anymore, and if it is, its with ebay or the likes. and it retails for about 169-200$ without shipping. which card are you getting ? manufacturer ? and do tell the clock speeds please, not all 7600's are from the same manufacturer, hence difference in performance. please tell from where are you getting it from ?

One of my friends has a Geforce 7600 GS and for an AGP card its got damn good performance......

I myself have a XFX nVidia Geforce 8800 GTX 786MB Xtreme 600MHz Core & 1.9GHz Memory Freq. costed me around 40k when it first came out! (sorry to be a little off topic)

if you think this card cant play any recent games, your definitely wrong. IT CAN play many latest games, take a look at killaMuf's reply .. and if your comparing it with x1650, ive compared both and after a week of comparing and testing, i went for this. reason is better FPS with a way greater margin than the X1650, better performance, stability with almost every game.. dont always settle for the ramdacs and clock speeds.. the X1650 shows 1400mhz but its effective ramdac is WAY less.. and frankly i'd prefer even a lower 7 series over x1650..

What people usually do is overspend and get something that is heavy on the power supply and is way overpowered as to what is required to run the desired application...
